December 31st, 1999 Hyderabad  Millennium Concert in Hyderabad (Necklace Road.) which was attended by over 200,000 people.
 
September 1999 Japan Featured Soloist during a tour of Japan for Ryuichi Sakamoto Opera LIFE
 
May 8th, 1999 Tribute to Lord Menuhin featuring Miya Masaoka and Vishwamohan Bhatt.
 
Republic Day (January 26th,1998) New Delhi Special Concert at Rashtrapathi Bhavan in the presence of HE KR Narayanan, HM King Birendra, Queen Aishwarya, and dignitaries.

World Premiere of Astral Symphony with NRK Radio Symphony Orchestra, Seetaa Subramaniam, World Strings Ensemble and The Madras Percussion Ensemble. The compositiopn was a result of receiving the Composer of the Year Award/ Commission from NRK.

The Second half of the program was the Double Concerto with Arve Tellefsen and the orchestra.

January 29, 1997 Nepal Special concert on the occasion of H.M. King Bir Birendra Bikram Shah Dev’s 25th year of accession to the throne.
 
October 21,1996 Paris Special Concert for Lord Yehudi Menuhin’s Birthday Celebrations, at Theatre Marigny.
 
June 16, 1996 Berlin Global Symphony live performance broadcast in 28 nations.  Conducted by L. Subramaniam at House of Culture, Berlin.  The broadcast reached close to 2 million listeners.  He is the only Asian artiste to hold such a record in Europe with a live performance.
 
August 25th, 1995 Madison Square Gardens World Premiere of Global Symphony at Madison Square Gardens.  Conducted by L. Subramaniam, with Singers from Metropolitan Opera, New York String Players, World Soloists from Japan, Korea, Africa, India, etc.  It was to celebrate the 50th year of UN.

September 1994 South Africa South African Tour with the Natal Philharmonic, Transvaal Philharmonic and Maestro Leslie Dunner.  They performed Fantasy on Vedic Chants at Len Asia, Johannesburg, Pretoria (Transvaal Philharmonic) and Durban (Natal Philharmonic).

February 13th NCPA Bombay A new composition was commissioned and premiered – Beyond.  As a part of the Swiss Festival in India, it was performed by Contrechamp’s ensemble.

 

20th Jan, 1999 Tiruvayur, India Performed on the opening day of the Sri Tyagarajabrahma Mahotsava Sabha Festival to commemorate Tyagaraja’s 150th death centenary.
1990  France Festival de Lille all night concert featuring L. Subramaniam as a main soloist, performing Indian Classical, fusion with Stephanne Grapelli and Double Concerto and Bach Double Concerto with Cannes Orchestra and Maestro Philippe Bender.  Broadcast live by Radio France

 

1990 India Festival of GDR in India, two orchestra compositions, Spring Rhapsody and Nada Priya, were premiered and performed by the Halle Chamber Orchestra on their national tour with Subramaniam himself conducting the first piece.
